Ian discusses the merits of building a Jatropha plant in Rwanda with Tony Blair. Ian makes the point to Tony that the key benefits would creating employment, reducing the dependency of the country on imported diesel as well as a technology transfer by setting up an outgrowing scheme to local farmers enabling them to be more independent while increasing the output of the crop.
